No education, experience or training is required. This is a temporary job from 11/12/2018 to 4/01/2019. 40 hrs/week between 4 a.m. to 5 p.m., M-F. Rate of pay: $12.95/hour. Overtime may be available and varies, will be paid at $19.43/hour. The worker will perform a combina-tion of tasks with processing shellfish. Duties: use shucking tools to perform oyster and clam cutting and trimming; weigh shellfish meat and tag containers for weight and contents; inspect shellfish products for defects, bruises or blemishes and remove them along with any inedible products; cut and trim oys-ters and clams to prepare for packing; separate shellfish meat and byproducts into specified containers and seal containers; process shucked oyster and clam meat that are ready for retail use; sort and process oysters live in the shell; and clean oyster shucking areas. Duties performed at the main office lo-cation and when necessary will perform at 26406 Z St., Ocean Park, WA 98640, both locations part of the Pacific Coun-ty, WA intended area of employment. Wiegardt Brothers, Inc. will make all deductions from the workerGs paycheck required by law. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, Wiegardt Brothers, Inc. will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workers is dismissed earlier, Wiegardt Brothers, Inc. will provide or pay for workersG reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workerGs volun-tary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable com-mon carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.26 per day during travel to a maximum of $51.00 per day if support-ed by receipts. Wiegardt Brothers, Inc. will provide to the worker, at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
